BMW Hams Hall is seeking an experienced and motivated Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment with one of the world's leading automotive manufacturers.

Location : Hams Hall - Coleshill.

The rates of pay are :

  • AM Shift, £ per hour
  • PM Shift, £ per hour
  • Nights, £ per hour

This is a full-time role working rotating shifts, Monday to Friday and the hours of work are :

  • 6am to 1 : 30pm
  • 1 : 30pm to 9pm
  • 9pm to 6am
  • 6am to 4pm

    Your Time at Work

    As a Counterbalance Driver, your duties include :

  • Operate a forklift truck in a safe and efficient manner to move raw materials, finished goods, and other products within the facility
  • Load and unload materials from vehicles and place them in designated storage areas
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of the forklift truck and report any malfunctions or safety issues to the supervisor
  • Maintain accurate records of materials moved and report any discrepancies to the supervisor
  • Follow all health and safety regulations, including wearing personal protective equipment and following safe lifting practices
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor

    Our Perfect Candidate will have :

  • Forklift Truck license that has been issued or refreshed within the last 3 years and accredited by either RTITB or ITSSAR
  • Experience operating a forklift in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment of at least 6 months
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a rotating schedule, including mornings, afternoons and nights, as required
