Job Description :

Your Role and What You'll Be Doing

We are currently recruiting for a talented Solicitor to join our medical negligence team based in our Leeds office.

The successful candidate will join Partner Rachel Roach's team, which predominantly specialises in medical law, focusing on claims involving children with brain injuries at birth and adults with spinal cord injuries.

You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while also assisting senior team members with more complex, high-value cases. You'll handle cases from start to finish, using your commercial and analytical skills to identify key issues and propose practical solutions for our clients. Whenever possible, you will aim to secure interim payments to facilitate rehabilitation, care packages, and suitable accommodation before claims are concluded.

Our team is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our clients and works on some truly complex cases. This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving, supportive, and highly experienced team.

About You

We're looking for a Solicitor who has a passion for medical negligence work and a proven experience working on high-value multi-track cases. Our ideal candidate will have the following :

  • 1+ year PQE experience in Medical Negligence
  • The ability to take instructions from clients and give sound legal advice;
  • Demonstrable technical experience gained within medical negligence;
  • Demonstrable experience assisting seniors across high-value complex cases;
