Logistics Support Coordinator – Field based Driving role - not an officed based Admin position

South Midlands and Southern England – extensive travel required

30,000 basic + bonus potential

Logistics Support Coordinator

The Logistics Support Coordinator is primarily a Driving position covering a large geographic territory spanning the whole South of England – up to the South Midlands . The incumbent will source, secure and appropriate rentable space in both national and independent storage facilities. Once sourced and contracts with them are in place, the post holder will drive to these facilities and ‘set them up’ as per CHH’s Standard Operating Procedure. Additional duties will also include :

  • Use Excel to capture and record documentation (ensuring 100% accuracy) in order to keep Head Office and 3rd parties updated in real time
  • Communicate with Client Engineers – providing them with all the information and documentation in order for them to access their storage facility
  • Responsibility for closedown and condition audits of all storage facility locations within the geographical network
  • In conjunction with UK Transport Manager organise effective route planning on a daily / weekly basis

Essential skills and attributes

  • CANDIDATES MUST LIVE IN THE SOUTH OF ENGLAND
  • Worked in an environment where accuracy of data and reporting is vital
  • Be able to work independently and be self-motivated
  • Full UK Driving License – max of 6pts
  • UK Commercial driving experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft packages and competent in completing basic but regular administration
  • Strong and clear communicator – able to do so at all levels and represent CHH as our first point of contact
