Job description
Special Needs Teaching Assistants
Prospero Teaching are looking for staff to support a Special Needs school in Portsmouth. The school caters for pupils ages 4-11 who have special educational needs, with some of those having needs that are profound, complex or challenging. Staff will need to have the ability to foster strong relationships with the children and to support them with their learning and development.
The Role will consist of :
- Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs.
- Supporting the class teacher in creating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and make progress.
- Academic support.
