Job description

Job Description

We are excited to offer an exceptional opportunity for a nurturing and energetic Weekend Nanny, working from Friday afternoon to Sunday early evening, to join a loving family with three delightful daughters : twin girls aged 4.5 years and a younger sister aged 2.5 years.

This is a really lovely, fun, warm and happy family. They live in London and at weekends usually go to their beautiful weekend home in the Hampshire countryside.

The family has a fabulous Monday to Friday nanny, but find that they also need support from a nanny over the weekends.

This is a mix of Shared care and Sole charge (50 / 50)

Working from mid afternoon Friday through til 7pm on Sunday evening. The children are usually awake between 7am and 7pm, but you will be on call if needed by a parent to baby sit for an evening or if you need to get up to help support a parent with a child in the night. Although generally they sleep well so you won't be disturbed at night most of the time.

This live-in position allows you to immerse yourself in the family’s fun weekend routine, creating a safe and engaging environment where the children can learn and thrive. You will have the chance to plan fun and enriching activities, from outdoor adventures in the beautiful Hampshire countryside to imaginative indoor play.

The family values the importance of play in education and seeks someone who shares this philosophy. If you are passionate about early childhood development and eager to contribute to a nurturing family setting, we invite you to apply to this wonderful opportunity.

Not every   weekend   will be at the Hampshire address above but we aim to get to the countryside as often as makes sense! Occasional travel on holidays might be requested (not a requirement), generally to Sweden, America, France and Switzerland

The role is " Caring for three girls, aged in January nearly 5, 5, and 2 3 / 4, including dressing, bathing, meal prep, playing and activities, and tidying up, occasional children’s laundry if required."

We are looking for " Someone positive, energetic, organised, and who is firm but loving. Someone who would take the girls outside no matter the weather, have fun activities up their sleeve, tidy up as they go and be organised about clothes / packing, meals etc. Someone who is nice and easy to be with on   weekends   as a family and who could ideally also proxy parent if my husband and I go away for a night or two."

Place of work

London occasionally, which is our primary residence, but mostly Hampshire on   weekends
