Role Overview
They are seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to deliver high-quality engineering support, ensuring that plant and machinery are operational and meet production requirements in a cost-effective and timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate with production leadership to prioritise operational support.Provide expert assistance after major safety or quality incidents.Offer technical guidance and training to Setter Operators, Trainers, and Maintenance Technicians.Handle complex breakdown repairs, including low-voltage electrical issues. This includes Analyse and repair equipment after safety or quality issues, conducting follow-up actions post-servicing, repairs, and maintenance and maintaining accurate machine history records.Implement solutions to address “Red Tag” quality concerns.Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product samples.Support unit repairs and tooling refurbishment and Instillation and commissioning of new machinery.Develop SOPs for technical tasks.Request standard spare parts and tooling as needed.Promote and follow safety protocols to employees and Contractors.About You :
It would be Ideal if you hold a BTEC HNC in Engineering.Must hold a recognised apprenticeship (Multi-Skilled, Mechanical, or Electrical).Must be proficient in MS Office PackagesMust have a minimum of three years in a high-volume manufacturing environment.Technical Expertise in the following would be Ideal : Strong understanding of manufacturing operations.Skilled in fault-finding and root cause analysis.Hands-on experience with machinery and automation.Familiarity with Total Quality Systems (TS16949) and PLC systems.If this sounds like position for you, please apply directly or contact us on 01325 389333
