About the role

Working with and assisting Process Control Engineers, you’ll be responsible forthe management of the Operational Technology (OT) networks and infrastructureat Drax Power Station. You’ll be a subject matter expert, accountable fortechnical excellence and leadership.

The role willinvolve managing multiple windows-based OT systems ensuring personnel safety,plant availability and integrity are always maintained. You’ll liaise with the cyber-securityteam to ensure the assets are cyber secure and complying with the latest NISregulation requirements.

You’ll also ensurethat all current and future projects correctly comply with the OT networkrequirements as well as being secure by design.

Who we’re looking for

The idealcandidate will demonstrate the below :

  • Proven experience of network design, implementation andmaintenance- Demonstrableexperience in network management, configuring managed switches and firewalls- Provenexperience in Active Directory, Domains and Trusts- Experienceof virtual servers and their management and maintenance- Understandingof different demands associated with the use of IT technology in an OTenvironment- Experienceof working with cyber-security and awareness of the NIS regulation
