Job descriptionSolid experience in FCAW welding Proficiency in welding within the marine sector or similar heavy industries Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team Strong understanding of safety practices and regulations in welding Adaptable and reliable with a strong work ethic Initial contract duration of 5-6 weeks with the potential for permanent transition Standard 40-hour work week with overtime available 23 / h Umb co Standard / 34.50 / h Overtime (can go CIS) 17.17 / h PAYE Standard plus 2.07 / h holiday pay / 25.76 / h plus 3.11 / h holiday pay
Key Responsibilities :
- Performing FCAW welding tasks to a high standard
- Working primarily within our clients large fabrication workshop
- Ensuring all work complies with industry safety regulations and quality standards
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints
- Collaborating with team members to accomplish project goals
- Maintaining and inspecting equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Managing time effectively to meet project deadlines
- Potentially transitioning to a permanent position based on performance and availability
