About the Role

As a Probate Lawyer, you'll be at the heart of supporting individuals and families, providing expert guidance on wills, trusts, and estate administration. You will handle a varied caseload, confidently advising clients on estate planning, drafting wills, managing probate matters, and more. Your role will also include offering insights into related areas like conveyancing in the context of probate, ensuring clients receive a comprehensive service.

Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking law firm in Southport with roots stretching back to the 1870s. Known for their approachable yet professional ethos, they pride themselves on delivering exceptional client care across a broad range of disciplines. Working Hours

This is a full-time, permanent role, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm.

Key Duties

Drafting wills and providing tailored estate planning advice.

Managing a caseload of probate and private client matters.

Offering expertise on Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs), trusts, and estate administration.

Collaborating with other departments on probate-related conveyancing matters.

Generating and managing your documentation and correspondence independently.

Networking to generate new work and build strong client relationships.

Key Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of post-qualified experience (or equivalent) as a Probate Lawyer.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with clients and colleagues.

Confidence in managing caseloads with minimal supervision.

Strong organisational skills and the ability to handle varied tasks efficiently.

Proficiency in Microsoft Word and familiarity with legal software.

A proactive approach to networking and business development.
