About the role

ABC Teachers is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Supply Teacher to join our team in Longbridge.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver engaging and effective Humanities lessons across KS3 and KS4.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Manage classroom behavior in line with school policies.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to support student progress and development.
  • Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Humanities Teacher you will :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects (History, Geography, Religious Studies) at secondary level.
  • Strong classroom management skills.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to obtain suitable references, a valid DBS Check and hold the Right to Work in the UK (ABC Teachers do not offer sponsorship)
  • Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are :

  • a suitable qualification to teach Humanities PGCE, with valid QTS / QTLS
