Maintenance Engineer

We're currently looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join our business as an integral part of the club team, providing a first-class service to our clubs. This role is crucial, especially at our Chelsea club where it will be based. Reporting to the Head of Facilities , you will be responsible for maintaining the condition of the club, both internally and externally, including all equipment, plant, materials, fixtures, fittings, and finishes, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards at all times.

The Maintenance Engineer will ensure adherence to processes, execute reactive and planned repairs efficiently and cost-effectively, and comply with all health & safety requirements to uphold the highest standards.

You will support the Head of Facilities in completing regular maintenance activities and perform routine tasks such as changing light bulbs and general repairs to ensure the facilities are well maintained at all times.

We are seeking an experienced Facilities / Maintenance Engineer with previous experience in :

• Planned & scheduled routine and reactive maintenance tasks to ensure fully operational facilities and high standards of finish and condition
• Understanding of Electricity at Work and Health & Safety at Work regulations and best practices
• Knowledge of heating and ventilation systems (HVAC)
• Computer literacy, preferably with experience in planned maintenance systems
• Practical experience and knowledge of building maintenance
• Practical experience and knowledge of electrical systems, both single and three-phase
• Experience working with external contractors and suppliers
