Term : Temporary for up to 1 year

Responsible to : Phase Leader / Headteacher

Job Purpose : to provide a nurturing and engaging learning environment for a year 3 class, fostering their academic, social and emotional development while equipping them with essential skills and knowledge to succeed in their educational journey.

Start Date : As Soon As Possible (ASAP)

The governors and head teacher of Barnburgh Primary Academy are looking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled teacher to join our ambitious team, in a vibrant, supportive and popular Primary school. This will be an ideal post for an Early Career Teacher.

We are looking for candidates who :

  • will provide and develop creative and innovative teaching strategies to meet the needs of all pupils;
  • have the vision, energy, enthusiasm and determination to make a difference;
  • will create an exceptional learning environment in which children feel supported and challenged;
  • have very good interpersonal skills and a commitment to developing positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, parents and governors;
