Behaviour Support Assistant

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a compassionate and proactive Behaviour Support Assistant to work with disengaged students at a secondary school in Gorton. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on students' lives by providing support in and outside the classroom, helping them to stay engaged and succeed in their education.

About the Role :

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will :

• Work closely with students who are disengaged or displaying challenging behaviour, providing one-on-one support to help them re-engage with learning.
• Implement strategies and interventions designed to improve student behaviour and emotional well-being.
• Support teachers and other staff in managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Develop positive relationships with students, encouraging their confidence and promoting their academic success.
• Help students develop social and emotional skills, enabling them to cope with challenges both in and out of school.
• Support students during break times, transitions, and other school activities as needed.
