Food Technology Technician, Skelmersdale

Berry Recruitment is urgently recruiting a Food Technology Technician for a college in Skelmersdale. This role will be a temporary ongoing position until the end of the school year in July.

Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am-3.45pm with a 45 minute unpaid break.

Duties and responsibilites will include but not be limited to :

• Preparing and cleaning away materials
• Assisting teaching staff with lessons and practicals
• Ordering, receiving and accounting for stock
• Assisting in th maintenance of health and safety standards
• Experience of preparing food is essential
• An Enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service would be preferable, although the DBS can be processed by Berry Recruitment at a cost of £48. You also need to complete additional training for Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and KCSIE.
