Job description

Senior Structural Engineer - Requiered for our client that working out of an office in Ipswich. The Senior Structural Engineer would be workign for a unique company that is employee owned and work across the a range of industries within Rail, Marine and Structures. The Senior Structural Engineer will have the opportunity to work alongside a talented engineering team to deliver a wide variety of exciting projects with opportunities to work on projects across the wider company.

Senior Structural Engineer Position Remuneration

Salary DOE
Private Healthcare (currently offered through vitality)
Access to the discount scheme
The opportunity to buy up to an additional 10 days annual leave per year.
Profit related bonus subject to company performance. The first £3600 of any such payments are able to be made without any tax implication.
In-house support to achieve IStructE accreditations.

Senior Structural Engineer Position Overview

Engineering Degree or equivalent

Chartered or near Chartered (Incorporated status would also be considered)

Ability to clearly communicate and interpret instructions.

Experience of managing and leading technical teams

Track record of delivering projects through all design stages and construction.

Full driving licence

Senior Structural Engineer Position Requirements

Manage projects from conception through to construction stage

Carry out and oversee design work in various materials

Attend client and site meetings

Undertake surveys / site inspections

Assist with staff training and mentoring of trainees and graduates
