The Opportunity : We are seeking a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join our clients growing Glasgow office. This is a fantastic opportunity for either a Graduate Engineer with 1-3 years of experience or a more experienced Senior Engineer with 4+ years in the industry. The ideal candidate will be working towards Chartered status or already Chartered (CEng MIStructE or MICE). Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver structural engineering designs across a variety of building projects.
- Undertake structural analysis and prepare detailed calculations and reports.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other consultants to develop integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site inspections and assessments, including structural surveys and reporting.
- Contribute to project planning, resource management, and client communications.
- Mentor junior engineers and support their professional development (for senior applicants). Requirements :
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (MEng preferred).
- 1-3 years (Graduate) or 4+ years (Senior) of relevant UK-based experience in structural engineering consultancy.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar).
- Strong understanding of Eurocodes and British Standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
