Senior Accountant vacancy - based in Wellingborough, NN8Job Purpose : This position is ideal for a part or fully qualified ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional with substantial post-qualification experience in a practice environment. Strong technical expertise is essential, along with the confidence and capability to manage a diverse client portfolio effectively.Main Duties and Responsibilities :

• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare weekly and monthly management accounts
• Preparation and review of statutory accounts and tax returns
• Management of a portfolio of clients
• Staff supervision and mentorship
• Business development and networking
• Workflow management
• Preparing Self Assessments
• Advising client tax related matters
• Dealing with HMRC
• Corporate accounts, corporation tax returns, Capital gains tax
• VAT returns review and submission
• Highly experience in XERO accounting software and working knowledge of multiple software’s such as; Forbes, Sage, Kashflow, Quickbook, Free Agent etc.Person Specification :
• Part-qualified or qualified by experience ACCA, ACA certification
• Proven experience in a similar finance practice role
• Proficient in IT, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and Xero
