Job Advert : Groundworker – Social Housing MaintenanceLocation : LiverpoolSalary : £31,000 plus car allowance and company benefits.Employment Type : Full-Time, PermanentAbout Us : Our client is a reputable social housing provider committed to maintaining high-quality living standards. They are seeking an experienced and proactive Groundworker to join a dynamic and dedicated reactive maintenance team.Key Responsibilities :

• Carry out reactive maintenance and emergency repairs to tenanted properties, including groundworks, flagging and fencing.
• Respond to calls for urgent repairs and maintenance, prioritizing tasks effectively.
• Digging, levelling, and preparing areas for repairs and installations.
• Repairing and maintaining external works, drainage systems, pathways, and other groundworks.
• Undertake minor excavation and reinstatement works following repairs.
• Ensure that all work complies with health and safety standards and regulations.
• Complete reports and documentation for completed works and provide feedback to the site manager.
• Liaise with clients and tenants to ensure satisfaction and provide updates on progress.
• Work in a team with other maintenance operatives and contractors to complete jobs efficiently.Key Requirements :
• Previous experience as a Groundworker, ideally within social housing reactive maintenance.
• Good understanding of groundwork techniques, flagging and fencing.
• Valid CSCS card (or equivalent) and relevant qualifications.
• Experience in reactive maintenance.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service-focused attitude.
• Full UK driving license and ability to drive a company vehicle.
• Ability to work flexibly, including potential out-of-hours work for emergency callouts.Why Join :
