Job summary

This is an exciting new post in Cheshire Children and Young People Mental Health Services, (CYPMHS) joining the senior leadership to support Cheshire Access Services (MHST and MH Hub) in co-ordinating business information processes to help report on performance management, data quality and service development and clinical systems. The post holder will work closely with the existing 0-18 CYPMHS BIO providing consistent data quality and reporting across all Cheshire Services to support service development.

We have bases in Crewe and Ellesmere port and there will be an expectation that the role will support Cheshire Wide services.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be the focal point for information and contractual data. To provide a full range of administrative and data analyst support to the Access team members.

Management and leadership (including supervision) of our admin staff is expected and skills and experience of this will need to be demonstrated through the application process.

Person Specification

Qualifications

Essential

  • Degree in Business Admin / studies or equivalent experience
  • Secretarial qualifications
  • RSA III or equivalent experience
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent

Desirable

  • Project Management Qualification PRINCE or equivalent
  • Knowledge and Expertise

    Essential

  • Knowledge of relevant legislation Data Protection Act
  • Working knowledge of software programmes Microsoft applications and associated databases
  • Knowledge of clinical processes, systems and pathways
  • Demonstrable organisational and planning skills, with the ability to time manage effectively
  • Analytical skills with a proven ability to interpret information and undertake presentations
  • Desirable

  • Working knowledge of IT hardware
  • An understanding of the contracting and performance monitoring framework for NHS Trusts
  • Advanced level of MS Excel expertise
