Salary : From £85 per day

Contract : Temporary to Permanent

We are seeking dedicated and resilient Teaching Assistants to join a team, supporting students in a dynamic and nurturing environment.

About the Role :

As a Teaching Assistant in this new SEMH provision, you will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs. Your main responsibilities will include :

Assisting with classroom activities and educational programs.

Providing one-on-one support to students to help them achieve their learning goals.

Managing and supporting challenging behaviour in a calm and effective manner.

Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and other support staff to create a positive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate :

We are looking for individuals who are committed to making a positive impact on the lives of students with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have :

Previous experience working in SEMH, SEN, or a similar educational setting.

A high level of resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A genuine passion for supporting and inspiring young people.

Requirements :

Relevant experience in an educational or care setting.

Strong understanding of SEMH and related behavioural strategies.

Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.#

A flexible and adaptable approach to work.
