Key Responsibilities The overall responsibility of the R&D Test Engineer is to define and conduct the independent testing of new and updated software and hardware products. Key responsibilities include :

• Developing an understanding of how company products are deployed in real-world customer applications
• Producing test plans for software and hardware products at system level
• Designing flexible test environments to suit the test plans and department requirements
• Automating tests using appropriate environment (scripting, user interfaces and test rigs)
• Conducting testing on new or updated hardware and software
• Conducting internal training courses on new products and new product features
