Salary - £30,000 - £35,000 (NEG)

Pearson Whiffin are recruiting for a Procurement Support Officer to join our client who are based in Mid Kent. This position will start out on a temporary basis with the opportunity for the right person to join their team permanently.

The ideal candidate will have some previous experience within a similar role, a methodological approach and a willingness to learn, you will be supporting the Procurement Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of the daily operations.

Duties include :

• Being the point of contact to suppliers following up on services and products.
• Working closely with internal departments
• Ensuring invoices are processed in a timely manner
• Ensure the Invoice checking process is followed and accurate reporting
• Dealing with Transport and Customs invoices
• Maintaining and updating the CRM database with accurate information
• Processing Freight invoices
