    My client is leading manufacturer within the building products industry based in Yorkshire. They are about to embark on exciting growth phase and are looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing Director to join them on that journey.

    Job Description

    • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the sales team, redefining their contractor and trade business.
    • Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy in order to capture market share.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders.
    • Report on sales performance and market trends as part of the UK board.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.
    • Drive sales performance through effective team management and motivation.
    • Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
    • The Successful Applicant

      The successful Sales and Marketing Director should have :

    • A degree in Business, Marketing or a related field.
    • Proven experience in a sales leadership role within the building products sector.
    • A track record of leading Specification and Trade sales teams.
    • Experience within branding and marketing strategies would be highly advantageous.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Strong strategic planning and execution abilities.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
    • Proficiency in using sales and marketing software and tools.
    • Demonstrated ability to drive sales performance and growth.
