Job Title : Sustainability Manager

Salary : £40,000 per annum

Location : Westminster-based, with site visits across London

Projects : £500k-£20m

About the Role :

We are seeking a passionate and proactive Sustainability Manager to join our growing construction company. Based in Westminster, you will play a key role in driving sustainability initiatives across our diverse range of projects, valued between £500k and £20m, at various sites throughout London.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement sustainability strategies for projects, ensuring compliance with environmental legislation and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and integrate sustainable practices from planning through to completion.
  • Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and carbon footprint.
  • Provide training and guidance to staff and contractors on sustainable construction practices.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including clients, regulatory bodies, and local authorities, to promote sustainability objectives.
  • Stay updated on emerging sustainability trends, standards, and technologies relevant to the construction industry.

What We're Looking For :

  • Proven experience in sustainability within the construction sector.
  • A strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainable building practices, and certifications.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites and collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Relevant qualifications in sustainability, environmental management, or a related field are highly desirable.
