Job summary

We are seeking to appoint a virtual administrator to support our clinical team to meet an urgent business need. As part of asmall knit business support team, you will be working closely with the Operations lead and SeniorBusiness Support Officer, providing administration and diary management support for our existing teamof Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) / Speech and Language Therapy Assistants (SLTAs).

This role willbe fully remote and training willbe delivered remotely.

Main duties of the job

  • To simultaneously schedule, manage and report on appointments for multiplemembers of our clinical team.
  • Manage your own time well to allow for flexibility in the above.
  • Take responsibility to ensure administrative practices are of a highquality.
  • Be responsible for maintaining records and electronic filing up to date.
  • Proofread, format, edit and update clinical documents (with training andguidance) as required by the business.
  • Respond to administrative enquiries in a timely and confident fashion.
  • Following up enquiries from parents / carers, educationpractitioners and health partners.
  • Otherduties subject to business need / your skill set.

    Circumstances

    Essential

  • Able to work fully remotely.
  • UK based.
  • Stable and fast internet connection.
  • Have the minimum IT requirement laptop / desktop PC plus at least one monitor.
  • A mobile phone will be provided.
  • No holidays over 10 working days in length in the 9 month period.
  • Generally working hours are 9am -5pm, Monday to Friday, however, there is the potential for some flexible working.
  • Qualifications

    Essential

  • GCSE grade A to C in English and Maths.
  • Desirable

  • European Computer Driving Licence.
  • Experience

    Essential

  • Experience of MS Office Suite inc. SharePoint, MS Teams, Excel and Word.
  • Previous of experience of working in a fast-paced virtual admin support role.
  • Desirable

  • Experience working in health or education sector.
  • 18 months experience of working in a virtual admin role.
