This Nottingham organisation is a leading Retailer operating primarily in the UK with a strong international presence.

We are supporting them in recruiting a Finance Manager for a 12-month contract.

Role overview

You’ll report to the Head of Finance and work within Financial Control. You will focus on accurate month-end close and compliance with monthly and quarterly SOX controls. Crucial aspects include lease accounting for both US GAAP and IFRS, supporting finance projects, and collaborating with various stakeholders.

You will account for lease costs and operational charges while collaborating with FP&A and Business Partnering teams. You can also work closely with the offshore team, ensuring smooth processes for month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closes. In addition, you will work to resolve any financial accounting items escalated and support the completion of IFRS statutory accounts.
