Are you an experienced clinical administrator looking for a new opportunity? Do you have an eye for details and have a good understanding of medical terminology? Do you have excellent customer service and effective communication skills? If yes, then this is the role for you.
As our senior clinical administrator, you will work effectively as a multi professional team member within a fast-paced environment offering patients a range of diagnostic imaging procedures. Your main responsibilities will include the processing of completed examination reports for referring clinicians, covering all different areas such as MRI, ultrasound, echo and X-ray. Attention to detail and the fast and accurate processing of urgent reports is vital. You may also be required to cover the reception desk occasionally, appointment scheduling, and data entry.
Main duties of the job
As our senior clinical administrator, you will also :
Process and forward reports from completed diagnostic examinations to the referring clinicians. You will have the ability to verify reports, recognise urgent diagnostics reports and escalate appropriately.Process all patient and customer queries and forward general messages to the appropriate personnel within the department. You will be able to use your initiative and judgement in difficult or complex situations.Be able to adapt to change in a fast paced often changing environment and work to tight and pressured deadlines.To assist the team in achieving the optimal outcome for patient care.Performs other clerical duties as directed by the Administration Lead either generally or in instances where cover is required during the absence of other team members.Chaperoning during patient appointments.About us
