The Opportunity

Gentrack UK are currently hiring a Solutions Marketing Manager covering the UK and the growth pipeline into Europe. You will support the development and execution of all Product Marketing plans for Gentrack. This includes providing ad-hoc support to account teams throughout the sales lifecycle for all marketing-related elements, as well as continuously planning, building, and executing marketing collateral, customer-facing activities, enablement plans and sales tools.

Role Specifics

  • Research our market's consumer preferences then target and segment our customers effectively based on this research
  • Collaborate with sales team to create marketing content that will enable the sales team
  • Create product marketing content that clearly and effectively communicates our value-proposition
  • Oversee product launches, feature releases, and product positioning
  • You will have a leading role in defining marketing strategy and content creation for the industry’s most advanced solutions and practises
  • Proactively foster a change management culture by challenging & replacing established processes and procedures where necessary
  • Manage internal customers to the professional standards of external clients, being careful to manage expectations, ensure high quality communication, issues management are in place.
  • Focus on quality of output and advice, ensuring that material is complete and professionally prepared, peer reviewed and to a high standard.
  • What you'll have :

  • 4+ years of Product Marketing experience
  • Previous experience within the utilities, energy or water industry
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Understanding of utilities domains and ecosystem
  • Fluent English – written and spoken
  • UK based
  • Other helpful skills :

  • Understanding of the energy industry, including key companies.
  • Experience working in tech or for a software vendor.
  • This role is in the detail, end-to-end and hands on. You’ll need to be a self-starter with knowledge, ideas and the ability to inspire others. At this stage, alongside the growth of the company you will need be engaged with the specifics of your function, providing strategic solutions as well as handling coordination as our business grows.
