SEMH Teaching Assistant – KS2 – Wandsworth

An inclusive Primary School in the Borough of Wandsworth are looking to recruit a SEMH Teaching Assistant.

You will be working in the Year 4 class as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, providing SEMH support to children on a 1 : 1 and small group basis.

SEMH Teaching Assistant

  • SEMH Teaching Assistant
  • Working in KS2 – Year 4
  • Supporting children with SEMH
  • Working with children on a 1 : 1 and small group basis
  • Working in and out of the classroom
  • Supporting with academics and SEMH check ins
  • Long Term & Full Time – until at least July 2024 with scope to continue in September
  • 90 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
  • Good record of academics – degree, A level, GCSEs
  • Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEMH, would be ideal
  • Calm and compassionate nature
  • Patient and adaptable to suit the needs of the child
