Job description

Job Title : English and Maths KS3 Outreach Tutor

Location : England, Greater London, Tottenham

Job Type : Temporary, Part-Time

Primary Industry : Education and Training

Salary : £20 - £30 Per hour

Job Description : Job Duties :

  • Deliver engaging and interactive English and Maths lessons to Key Stage 3 students
  • Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions to support students' learning
  • Develop tailored teaching materials and resources to meet individual student needs
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents / guardians
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure alignment with curriculum objectives

Required Qualifications :

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching English and Maths at Key Stage 3 level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students
  • Education :

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Experience :

  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge and Skills :

  • Thorough understanding of the Key Stage 3 English and Maths curriculum
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Additional certifications in Special Education or Literacy Instruction
  • Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds

    All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
