UK Solicitor / EU Trademark Attorney - Work from Home

Trademarkia (www.trademarkia.com) is revamping for the future to deliver the highest quality of intellectual property legal advice through personalized video consults (through Google Meet), and pre-recorded but personalized Loom videos to each client. We have over 120,000 clients around the world, and are the largest trademark filing law firm in the United States.

We have over 5000 clients across Europe and the over 2000 in the United Kingdom. We now want to make a significant investment in growing Trademarkia in the United Kingdom and Europe, and become the largest filer of trademarks in Singapore. We also want to bring in work currently assigned to outside agents in house.

Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified UK Solicitor or EU Trademark Attorney to join our remote team, working from home. This is a work-from-home opportunity with flexible hours, allowing you to manage your schedule while delivering exceptional client service.

Our team of globally licensed attorneys (including about 10 U.S. licensed attorneys) are largely work-from-home, and are given the flexibility to work from anywhere in the world with a stable internet connection. You will also have flexibility to work around your schedule - as long as you stay organized, hard working, and diligent; you will do well at Trademarkia.

Must have exceptional client relations and legal consultation skills on a wide range of trademark, copyright, patent and IP law issues. A portion of your work will be client relations, a portion will be substantive legal work including trademark filings and oppositions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on trademark, copyright, and IP law issues to a global clientele.
• Ability to file and prosecute trademarks in the United Kingdom, under the Madrid Protocol, and in the European Union.
• Conduct trademark searches, file trademark applications, and manage trademark portfolios.
• Handle trademark oppositions and enforcement matters as required.
• Build strong client relationships through video consultations and personalized Loom videos.
• Collaborate with a global team of attorneys, including U.S.-licensed attorneys, and support Trademarkia’s mission to expand its presence in Europe.

Working Hours

Your working hours are flexible. However, you will need to be available and responsive to Google meet video conference, Zoom, phone, email, and google chats during the day time. We recommend that you provide a weekly schedule between 7 AM and 9 PM Monday through Friday (in your time zone). Given you have a flexible work at home schedule, your available hours are expanded. Please confirm the weekly schedule of your availability with your Practice Manager(s) / HR Manager in advance. All working hours requests will be considered and approved based on the business needs of the Firm.
