Job Description

Due to continued growth our Minworth site are now recruiting for a Senior Transport Coordinator on afull time permanent basis.

Salary : £34,680 per annum, plus £2,000 night shift allowance.

Working hours : Any 5 in 7 nights, 10pm-6am.

As a Senior Transport Coordinator you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the transport operation, ensuring that service levels are achieved and maintained, as well as planning driver and vehicle resource to achieve delivery / collection times.

Key Duties of a Senior Transport Coordinator :

• Optimising resource and adherence of WTD and drivers hours legislation.
• Creating an effective transport plan to achieve on time delivery and collection performance expectations.
• Providing 24 / 7 communication Transport link with Customer Services and Sales Order Processing.
• Monitoring retailer arrival and departure times, ensuring deliveries are made within the specified windows.
