We are currently working with a leading organisation involved in a major project who are looking for an Environmental Consents Specialist (Water). This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to environmental compliance and project success.

The Environmental Consents Specialist will be responsible for :

  • Advise on identification and consolidation of necessary Environmental Consents (water) required for the project.
  • Ensure the quality of supporting information and documentation for all consent applications.
  • Review and comment on technical documentation provided for pre-application, draft, and formal submission.
  • Liaise extensively with internal teams and external Consent Granting Bodies (, Environment Agency, Local Authorities) to ensure all necessary consents are in place.
  • Provide feedback to delivery teams regarding environmental obligations relevant to the consenting process.

The Environmental Consents Specialist will have :

  • Minimum 3 years of experience obtaining Environmental Consents, specifically related to water.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of environmental contamination, hydrogeology, hydrology, and flood risk considerations.
  • Understanding of current Environmental legislation.
  • Proven record of securing Consents in a timely manner and ensuring compliance.
