Job Description

Located in Belfast our client is a busy distributor who supply their products across a range of sectors including the water, power, process and construction industries. They are now inviting applications from applicants with a relevant background for the position of Internal Sales Engineer to support their continued growth.

The successful Sales Engineer will work in a team to support the sale of a range of industry leading products, product and systems training will be provided.

Responsibilities :

  • Deal with incoming inquiries from customer base and external sales staff
  • Prepare quotations using manufacturers product configurators and price lists. Issue quotations to customers and respond promptly to queries
  • Administration of orders including dealing with suppliers, purchasing and chasing deliveries
  • Deal with after sales back up, trouble shooting and dealing with warranty issues
  • Assist with the day-to-day activities of a busy office.
  • Liaise with in-house admin, service and stores team
  • Keep Company CRM System up to date

Criteria :

  • Third level qualification in mechanical, electrical or automation engineering
  • Enthusiastic and up for a new, exciting and rewarding challenge
  • Confident communicator with excellent organisational skills
  • Strong IT skills
  • Previous sales or sales support experience is highly desirable
  • Experience in the Water Industry desirable

    • Salary is in the region of £25-30k depending on experience, plus bonus up to 10% and pension.
