Our client is a successful and well-established accountancy practice in East Kent seeking a talented Personal Tax Assistant to join their dynamic team.

Our client has over 100 years’ of working with businesses and individuals, with a commitment to excellence, innovation and helping their clients achieve their financial objectives.

As a Tax Assistant, you will be an integral part of the tax team, supporting senior accountants and contributing to the delivery of high-quality tax services.

Your responsibilities will include :

  • Assisting with the preparation of tax returns for individuals.
  • Conducting tax research and staying updated on current tax laws and regulations.
  • Supporting senior staff with tax planning and advisory services.
  • Communicating with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant tax legislation.

What you need to bring

  • AAT qualified.
  • Previous experience in a personal tax-related role within an accountancy practice.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
