Job description

Our trusted partner, a highly reputable cloud solutions provider, is hiring a 2nd / 3rd line Service Delivery Engineer based in Sittingbourne, paying up to £45,000 per annum .

Job Details

  • Work schedule : Monday to Thursday, 8am to 8pm, rotating between days and nights, with Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays off.
  • Role involves support in Office 365, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP / IP).
  • Requires good communication skills, technical proficiency, and the ability to provide strategic guidance on IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Engaging with clients to determine technology requirements.
  • Delivering projects within scope, quality, cost, and timeline.
  • Clarifying system specifications and understanding client business practices.
  • Working at client sites and liaising with staff at all levels.
  • Developing and implementing new technologies.
  • Presenting solutions through reports and presentations.
  • Designing, testing, installing, and monitoring systems during projects.
  • Preparing documentation and progress reports post-implementation.

    • Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft technologies, including Office 365, Exchange Online, SQL, and experience with MS Azure / AWS.
  • Knowledge of Azure AD, Intune, Power Apps is a plus.
  • Experience with Server Operating Systems, Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy.
  • Familiarity with Virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware), Network hardware, Storage solutions, Mobile Device Management, Security products, Backup, and DR technologies.
