Quantity Surveyor - Required for my client in their Leeds office for an Initially a 6 month contract with view at exdending to perm. The successful candidate will have experience as a Quantity Surveyor, from within a contracting environment either in Civil Engineering or Rail background.
Quantity Surveyor Position Overview
- Manage a fast paced, high volume turnover of orders, with high standards of project performance and customer satisfaction
- Commercial Responsibility for Multiple projects
- Provide advice to the commercial team / project staff on site on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence
- Supply relevant commercial information / reports.
- Monitor contract compliance against statutory requirements
- Ensure all contract correspondence is recorded and logged
- Help to develop client relationships
- Attend all commercial meetings internal / external relevant to multiple projects
- Oversee / monitor contract costs against agreed budgets and monitor the use of cost and financial reporting systems
- Carry out monthly / periodic financial reviews (CVR's) on multiple projects and forecast final outturn values for cost, sales and margin
- Assist with tenders, both in terms of formulating and review.
Quantity Surveyor Position Requirements
