Excellent opportunity for an experienced IT Support Technician looking to join a busy and growing team based in Redhill, Surrey. My client is a long-established IT support company providing a wealth of IT knowledge, hands on IT support, products, solutions and high quality service to meet business needs.
The successful candidate will provide 1st and 2nd Line Support to a variety of clients in and along Surrey. Joining this company will allow you to learn new technologies in a relaxed but professional environment. You will be involved in all aspects of support and where you can make a tangible contribution to the business by delivering high levels of service to a mix of internal and external clients.
Position Overview – IT Support Technician
- Handling client IT queries via telephone and email remotely
- Update clients on the progress of their query when first-contact resolution is not possible
- Manage client projects such as data and email migration
- Resolve software issues
- Desktop and laptop fixes
- Troubleshooting Windows 10 & 11, Mac OS
- Managing Active Directory and group policy
- Travelling to client sites when required
Position Requirements – IT Support Technician
Full UK driving licenseKnowledge of Microsoft 365Experience with Windows Server & Windows client operating systemsExperience with Networks (LAN, WAN) Patch management and TCPIP protocolsFamiliarity with hardware of servers, desktops & laptopsKnowledge of security systems (Anti-virus, firewalls)2-4 years experience in an IT Support RoleOutstanding telephone customer service experienceExcellent communication skills and a passion for Technology.Position Remuneration – IT Support Technician
