HGV / Trailer Mechanic - Night Shift

Location : Glasgow

Pay : £46,800 + - from £20ph

Shift : Monday - Thursday

OTE : £50,000

About your new company

My client is a fleet maintenance company who have been established for over 25 years. They are now looking for skilled HGV / Trailer Mechanic Technicians to hit the ground running and join their ever-growing team.

About your new HGV Technician role

Ensuring the Fleet are compliant to Roadworthiness Regulations
Maintaining Fleet compliance through regular service inspections
Preparing vehicles for MOT testing
Responding to defect reporting processes and carrying out rectifications on Fleet vehicles
Communication with all teams to ensure no impact on Transport Operation
Callout ROTA covering fleet
Weekend shift ROTA

The successful HGV / Trailer Mechanic will have

High level of problem solving and team working

Excellent communication skills and a high level of flexibility

Ability to perform to high standards

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (preferred)

IT literate

Previous commercial vehicles experience

Able to demonstrate knowledge and experience as a HGV or Trailer Mechanic

LGV C+E licence beneficial not essential

The successful HGV / Trailer Mechanic Technician will receive
