You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities alongside your colleagues by taking a 'Whole Force' approach to our activities and ensuring that the company's excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.Role : Licensed Aircraft Engineer Location : Glasgow Airport Hours : Full time / Permanent Security Clearance : Must be able to achieve SC clearanceResponsibilities : Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities : Coordinating all CAA part 145 paperworkH&S of all equipment and reporting of any faults and diagnostic problems.Providing a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance. Essential Requirements : Aircraft inspections, repair and maintenanceSound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.Line support tasksType Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines.Have previously worked in a pt.145 environment.Experience in the aircraft maintenance industry.Qualifications Required : Recognised SHEQ Qualification Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS). EASA / CAA Part 66, B1.2 license.Clean driving licence.
