The salary range for this role is £12.45 to £13.00 per hour based on a 34 hour working week.

About The Organisation

We are a small sessional nursery rated outstanding by Ofsted, we offer the highest standard of care and education to children aged 2.5 to 5. Our driving aim is to foster a love for learning, independence and a high self-esteem through the exciting experiences, explorations and opportunities that we provide outdoors, indoors and in our surrounding woodland during our Forest School sessions.

We make full use of our outdoor environment throughout the year whatever the weather therefore any candidate should have a love for and commitment to learning outdoors. If you have a forest school qualification all the better but not essential.

About The Role

We are looking to recruit a new member of staff to join our friendly fun and creative Early Years team from September 2025

If you are committed to supporting and developing children’s learning in both outdoor and indoor environments, enthusiastic, motivated and reliable then this is the role for you.

With a minimum of a level 3 full and relevant early years or childcare qualification, experience of meeting the requirements of Early Years Foundation Stage and highly value your own continued professional development. Required to work as part of the team to plan learning for children both indoors and outdoors, work as a key person for a small group of children and take part in all aspects of nursery life including keeping the environment clean, tidy and inviting for the children in our care. Part of your role will be supporting parents to understand their child's development and how to support learning at home.

Additional Information

Hours for this role are to be discussed and agreed. Term time contract with a Minimum of 3 days a week.

Pay subject to qualifications and experience - level 3 £12.45 per hour.

We are open 9.15 - 4pm Mon to Thurs and 9.15 to 12.15 Friday.

5.6 weeks of annual leave with the option for up to one of these weeks being during term time. Small uniform allowance.
