School Science Technician.

Our Client School are seeking a Science Technician to join their team, based in a Secondary School in Braintree, Essex.

Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8.15am - 4.15pm, term time only. They can also consider anyone who was looing for part time, with a minimum of 3 days required.

The role is to start on a temporary basis until Christmas in the first instance, but the role is available on a longer term, permanent basis.

You do not need experience working within Schools, there are a team of Science Technicians who will be able to support you.

The responsibilities within this role will include;

• Preparation of equipment and materials
• Maintaining and managing stock
• Health and safety compliance
• Lab maintenance
• Supporting Teachers, Students and Colleagues
• Record keeping and documentation
• Lab organisation and cleaning
• Demonstrating equipment use
