This organisation is renowned for its excellence in treating a wide range of mental health conditions, including addictions, depression, anxiety, stress, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). The role offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, improving patient outcomes.________________________________________The OpportunityThis role is an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, where you will work alongside mental health nurses, consultant psychiatrists, therapists, and psychologists. With the support of a senior Occupational Therapist and therapy assistants, you will deliver high-quality care to individuals across acute and specialist care wards.________________________________________Key Responsibilities

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services to acute wards, focusing on patients with complex needs, including conducting Activities of Daily Living (ADL) assessments.
  • Mentor and guide therapy assistants to ensure effective and consistent patient care.
  • Dedicate one day per week to a specialist care service, supporting individuals with autism and OCD through tailored therapeutic groups and interventions.
  • Assess, plan, and implement individualised treatment plans that enhance patient recovery and engagement.________________________________________Qualifications and ExperienceEssential :
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).Desirable :
  • Significant experience in a clinical Occupational Therapy role, ideally in an NHS or similar healthcare setting.
  • Strong understanding of behavioural health and experience working with diverse adult patient groups.________________________________________Benefits
