Lead Full Stack Engineer

UK Remote (must be based in the UK)

Up to £100,000 + Meaningful Equity

We’re working with an ambitious, early-stage startup on a mission to transform how frontline roles are hired. Their AI-powered platform is already live with paying customers - and now they’re looking for their first in-house engineer to help take things to the next level.

What You'll Do

  • Own architecture, infrastructure, and technical decisions.
  • Build scalable full-stack systems (Next.js, Node.js, MongoDB).
  • Improve performance, reliability, and deployment processes.
  • Partner with the founders to design, build, and ship fast.
  • Set the groundwork for future hires and engineering culture.

  • Infrastructure : MongoDB Atlas, Heroku
  • Tools : Auth0, AWS S3, WebSockets
  • AI & Voice : OpenAI, Twilio, ElevenLabs

  • Senior full-stack engineer with startup experience.
  • Strong architectural instincts and scalable systems know-how.
  • Clean, maintainable coding style with performance in mind.
  • Comfortable wearing multiple hats and working independently.
  • Passionate about building tech that solves real-world problems.
