Our client is in a fantastic position in grid balancing (a crucial element to the decarbonization strategy of Energy Businesses, Utilities, TSOs, & DSOs) - offering a product suite of software solutions to some already fantastic, global partners.
Following several successful rounds of funding, the scale-up is looking to make its next significant step by onboarding a Head of Europe - who would be a vital contributor in their mission to transform energy trading & operating systems to support a flexible, decentralised, and decarbonised future!
Our client is seeking a well-versed commercial professional to spearhead their European go-to-market strategy , with a wealth of energy / flex market knowledge & DSO connections - ultimately playing a leading role in their latest expansion phase into Europe.
Above all, you will need a growth mindset, credible in the industry, and motivated to drive an international team forward!
Key Responsibilities :
Support in drafting & executing the European commercial strategy
Manage a growing, international team of commercial & pre-sales specialists
Oversee existing DSO relationships and expand business with these accounts & similar
Act as a European Energy & Flex market leader both internally & externally
Deliver presentations at customer and industry events.
Monitor sales operations metrics and financial performance against targets
Work closely with senior leadership, product, software & wider teams on deliverables
Job Requirements :
Deep knowledge & contacts within European Energy / Power / Flex markets – ideally DSO’s
Experience in a commercial / strategic position surrounding software solutions, DSR or Flexibility services to energy markets.
Successful track record of achieving / overseeing sales targets
Ability to deliver in cross-functional, international environments
Desire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
Ability and willingness to travel across Europe and other international locations as needed
Either experience or a desire to manage a growing, international team
Fluent in English
