We have an exciting opportunity to work for a nationally recognised recycling business, considered to be the leader in its field. Pay rates from £11.44 – 13.70 (after 12 weeks ) per hour depending on shifts. The role of street sweeper is based in

London – Marylebone.

Start : 14 : 00 ( Evening shift )

Pay :

  • From £11.44 – 13.70 (after 12 weeks ) per hour
  • Paid weekly

    • Responsibilities :

  • Manual sweeping of streets and other areas, including foot-ways, alleys, subways, and around street furniture
  • Ensuring Gully Grids are clear of obstructions; improper sweeping may lead to disciplinary action
  • Emptying litter bins within your beat, replacing liners properly, and collecting sweeper bags from agreed pick-up points
  • Using on board technology to record task confirmations and crew-related issues in real time
  • Reporting locations of graffiti, fly posting, or damaged / missing litter bins and waste containers to your Foreman / Manager
  • Checking vehicle condition and road worthiness, completing appropriate forms
  • Maintaining a courteous and professional relationship with the public, clients, staff, and colleagues

    • Requirements :

  • Basic understanding of Health & Safety
  • Previous experience in a similar role is beneficial but not required
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
