The role is varied and extremely rewarding, making it suitable for an experienced Deputy Care Manager or Care Manager who wishes to develop or progress their career in Care Management.

Reporting to : Operations Manager

Key responsibilities include :

  • Report to and work closely with the Operations Manager
  • Provide the highest standards of Care & Continuity of Care to Clients at all times
  • Handle enquiries from prospective new clients and conduct assessments during visits
  • Liaise with Social Workers, Family, and other Professionals to plan and manage care needs
  • Conduct assessments and reviews with clients and produce care plans
  • Ensure healthcare arrangements are properly managed
  • Use care planning software to generate staff rotas, payroll, and invoices
  • Recruit, induct, and supervise new care professionals and office staff
  • Manage staff performance and conduct to ensure high standards
  • Coordinate with Care Quality Commission inspectors and inspections
  • Manage the company's audit and quality assurance cycle
  • Practice maximum integrity in handling clients' personal and financial affairs
  • Provide on-call support during evenings and weekends as part of a rota, ensuring all calls are covered and care sessions are delivered when required
  • Follow safeguarding guidelines and reporting mechanisms to ensure safety of clients and staff
  • Promote a positive professional profile within the local community to uphold the company’s reputation
