Position : Teaching Assistant – Math's Support
Duration : September 2025 - July 2026

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support Math's students beginning in September 2025. The successful candidate will play a vital role in helping students achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Provide one-to-one and small group academic support for GCSE Math's students

Help students develop effective study skills and revision strategies

Support classroom teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive learning experiences

Provide additional learning resources and academic guidance

Monitor student progress and report back to lead teachers

Create a supportive and motivational learning environment

Strong academic background with good GCSE or A-Level results

Patience and ability to work with teenagers

Strong organisational and interpersonal skills

Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check required

Ability to provide constructive and positive academic support

Desirable Qualifications

Experience working with GCSE-age students

Additional teaching or mentoring experience

Understanding of current GCSE curriculum

Successful candidates will be required to conduct an interview and complete a vetting process which includes an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS, if you do not have one, you can get one through Connex Education at the cost of £58.
