Job description

We are on the lookout for an experienced Pipewelder to support a long term contract, based both on and offsite for our client.

Key Responsibilities :

  • TIG Welding background
  • Working on 1 / 2' -3' Duplex pipe
  • Ensuring all work meets industry standards and project specifications
  • Adhering to safety protocols and maintaining a safe working environment
  • Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to execute precise welds
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient project progression

Job Requirements :

  • Experience in pipe welding within the nuclear / oil & gas / marine industries
  • Proficiency in TIG welding techniques
  • Experience working with Duplex
  • A solid understanding of pipe welding safety practices and procedures
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work
  • Flexibility to work onsite at a different client location
  • Capability to work extended hours when necessary

    • Job Duration and Location :

  • Contract duration c. 7 weeks
  • Initial location : Renfrew, then Alloa
  • Paid 50 hour week
  • 30 / h PAYE plus £3.62 / h holiday pay or £40.18 / h Umb Co. Can go CIS.
