Senior Nursery Practitioner - Penge (SE20) - £24,843 - £27,248. (£13.24 - £14.52 per hour)

We are looking for a full time Senior Nursery Practitioner to join this lovely setting in Penge.

This setting caters for children from ages 3 months - 5 years old and has a capacity for 50 children. They are conveniently located less than 10 minutes' walk from 2 train stations and various bus stops and have parking available.

This full-time, working a shift rota between the hours between 7.45 am and 6.15 pm. The nursery closes for one week over Christmas.

What we need from you :

  • Level 3 qualification in childcare or higher
  • Commitment
  • Passion to deliver outstanding childcare
  • Ability to work within a team
  • Broad knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding
  • Your duties will include :

  • Taking charge of a key group of children
  • Working alongside the manager and deputy and working to deliver high quality childcare
  • Being responsible for leading practice in one of the rooms
  • Deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps young children to develop
  • Plan and provide effective care, teaching and learning.
  • Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children
  • Work in partnership with colleagues, parents and / or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children
  • Make accurate and effective use of assessment reflecting the needs, interests and stages of development of the individual children.
